anyone shed some light on what the flap in the air feed to the filter does on my 197? its the one to the right of the battery.i believe it closes when you give it the beans to allow cold air in at the front grille.is that it?also if i remove the small pipe to stop it would this not be a good...

surely removing the airbox cover would let in hot air?it has two feeds already so is that not enough??lol

197 cup 2008 1-squeaking from drivers side front wheel. 1a-after 3 trips to renault they replaced the strut top bearing and problem solved.(warrany)

mine goes off if i use the jet wash on it.:S

had my clio 197 cup for 5 months now and only just found out it has a shift light on the rev counter:eek::S anyone else notice something new about there car after you had it a while?:approve:

i know mine did it to but on mine you could cancel the interior ultasonics and it was the same beep.you would turn on and off the ignition twice and get out the car and it would beep to let you know it had worked.it was just for leaving a dog etc. in the car without setting the alarm off.hope...

yeah had it in the 182 but miss it in the 197.is good for checking for frost up here.:)

anyone know if its possible to get the outside temp (under the clock on the dash) reading fitted to a clio 197 and how hard it would be to do myself?or is it dealer only???:S

hi all...........if i fit a decat pipe to my 182 will the engine managment light come on as the pipe has a sensor in it??not sure if there is a sensor before and after the cat either.:S also not sure if it is a temp sensor or emmitions sensor? anyone fitted one and can help?:)
