Are the leds in the dash display replaceable?

Replaced power steering sensor, led dash symbol not illuminating. All other led fine. Any thoughts?

It could do. When I started from cold it would reset but when I restarted after a couple of minutes it would not. Also check that when running you are getting a charge of 14 volts.

PS 3. Great tyres.

Battery is on it's way out. Check the voltage across the terminals when starting. If it drops below 9 volts approx then it's a new battery.

What are your views on adding an additive to the engine oil to help stop the leak?

If I take the plenum off will I see the rocker cover?

I take it that means an engine out and major work?

Thanks for replying. It's coming from the plastic cover at the top of the pic. Is it easy to take the engine mount off? How major do you think it could be?

There is some rust there but if I know where the stamp is I can try and brush it clear. Do you know where it is?

Looked on the front of the engine just to the right of the oil filter, nothing visible. I can see FDR and to the right of that a number going hirizontal which is long and does not match the engine number on the V5. I assume this is the code of the engine and not it's number. Has anyone got a...

Both front and rear work off one pump. The other pump is for the headlight wash. Can you hear the motor running when operating the front jets? If so then try swapping them.

Well after a desperate week with dodgy washers I took the wipers, wiper linkage and bottle out. Swaped the pumps over. It works perfectly on both pumps now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they said they were ok. they reckon its an internal fault with the compressor pump. you can hear the pump kick in when turned on but makes no difference. anyone else had this??????????????????:dapprove:

Had my 172 on the diagnostic computer and they have checked everything. Been told by dealer that the pump needs replacing. It still works in that I can turn the temerature to max and it gets hot then drop it down to min and it cools BUT NOT COLD. Gas is good and no leaks. Any ideas guys? I have...

you are right even though it is a complete exhaust system they can cut the downpipe and just fit the rear section. renault quoted 270 inclusive for new backbox and fitting. reasonable?
