Hello all
Anyone heard of the rear foglight sticking on before, even with the car locked? (Clio 197 Cup)
Tried a new dashboard stalk...no joy...
Thanks :dead:
I'm 6'5 and found it a bit cramped in a 182. Driving position didn't help either. And yes, size 12 feet aren't made for that pedal box...
Now got a 197 and things have improved considerably. Wouldn't say it was uncomfortable in a 182, but forget trying to get someone to sit behind you!
Unless you are happy ripping your bumper off I wouldn't bother. One of mine is broken and as it's not a warranty item Renno want £58 to fit a new one, and they need the car all day!!!!!!
Anyone any idea what this "whooshing" noise is under hard acceleration? Could it be a leak somewhere? Car seems quicker though so it can't be anything too bad to worry about!
Anyone tried theirs on Total Excellium? That's what I use but sod knows if it makes any difference...
The little sticker on the filler cap says 97+ RON recommended if I remember rightly?!
Hi all
My 182 has done 31,500 miles and was last serviced in August 2007, before I bought it, at 23k. The Renno book says it's next due at 36k or two years, whichever is reached first.
Just wondering what you all think about the regularity of oil changes with this engine? Is it "OK" to go...
It's about £350. I read somewhere Renno want £400 for a new standard one? (ha ha).
I'm not going to bother with a decat. Can't be bothered mucking about with it at MOT time. One thing I've noticed with this new exhaust is what can only be described as a "whooshing" noise under hard...
Craig this is spot on mate. I was in exactly the same position. I blasted down the motorway earlier tonight and there's no drone at constant speed at all, just a quality deep note through the revs but it's never too intrusive. The garage also commented on the quality of the finish, and it looks...
Just fitted a Milltek cat-back system to my 182 and the difference seems to be incredible. Thought it might have been in my mind at one point (it sounds louder so it must be quicker...) but after an hour's driving I'm convinced the mid-range pull is much, much better and it feels like a...
I've got the same problem with my '55 182, just noticed it today. When I lock with the button on the key the boot doesn't lock. When I open the boot there's a continuous buzzer noise.
My 182 has done 29k and I've had the knocking noise when turning at slow speeds diagnosed as a knackered ball joint. Is that commonplace at this mileage?
Not that I should care too much, it's still under Renault warranty!
1) It got keyed in Lincoln just before I bought it...
2) There's a knocking when parking and with lots of steering lock on, like a thudding noise
3) That's about it! ;)
