Hi, Ive recently cleaned the throttle body due to the car idling at 400RPM. This hasnt seem to made any difference. Im sure I read on here somewhere (cant find it now) that there is a process you can do to reset the throttle body?? Wondering if this would help. Car is a 2005 1.4 16V mk2 ph2.

Hi, First post here! Im looking to clean one on a 2005 1.4 16v (mk2 ph2?). Any tips on what could be damaged? Im going to buy some carb cleaner, and wipe all inside it with a cloth, is this ok? Thanks, Dan
