My car (clio 172 cup, 53 reg) has been recalled for a bonnet catch problem.

Hi, I have a clio 172 cup, 53 reg. The speedo will randomly drop to 0 for a while and then comes back on, and will go off again. Any ideas to what is causing this? Also, mileage and MPG, average speed etc keeps resetting themselves if the car has been turned off for a longer period of time...

Tried that and itt didnt seem to work, when you insert the code, non of the buttons do anything, it just beeps. so cant accept the code. any other ideas?

I have my 4 digit radio code, could anyone tell me the procedure for typing in. Mine has let me put in the code but just beeps when pressing button 5 to accept. Help please Ella

Just changed brakes on rear of a Clio 172 Cup, Should there be a Spring between the lever of the Bias adjuster and the axle. It looks like a load proportion valve on a van. Anyone know if we can order this part Pat

I own a 2003 Clio Cup 172, the computer says it is getting 41mpg but it must be wrong as the fuel guage seems to go down in around 250-300 miles depending on driving, but trip says 120mile left. thanks

Tried all the things reported on here today, tried the White connector, TDC sensor, [both cleaned up well], the 3 black relays, the immobiliser one under the dash. Tried them all but no starting. So finally thought we would try rolling the car off our steep drive onto the flat road, IT...

Just read your other thread. My car is on our drive [steep slanted] I notice someone else say that car starts on flat, so will try in morning, also try the Relays etc. Its only done this twice, both times on the drive!!! Pat

Yeah I thought it might be Immobiliser issues, as I checked the light not going out vs a 172 that is starting and that light goes out as soon as Ignition on. Any ideas, how to kill the immobiliser, The key has plenty of battery life to open/close central locking, but would a battery in the key...
