hi guys, thanks for the replys i was using a breaker bar. I tried putting it into 5th gear and trying but the engine still just about turns, if i put my foot on the break should this stop it moving? cheers

ello folks, just got my car a few weeks back, an just looking at the screws of the interior trim, bought a spline bit set which didnt really work. Does any one know what the screws are called, and what kind of screwdriver would be used. Sorry for the noobish question and thanks for any help guys...

thanks for the replys guys. im going to buy it. Hopefully working on a petrol would be easier for me after ive sold this on.

basically im going to do motor mechanics for a course. im buying a cheap car which will be a 1.9 mk1 clio, but it is a diesel. im just wondering whether diesel engines are similar to petrol ones and what are the differences other then spark/glow plugs? thanks
