Actually.. I bought one last week. The deal I got was £400 for the unit, 2 years update subscription AND Laser detector module. The module was out of stock (should get it tomorrow) but I have used the main unit.. works brilliantly. I was going to wait until I got the laser detector installed...

Im all foam and no wheel myself. The weight saving can only help, but also the sound of the exhaust is class - louder without the tyre and cardboard boot floor in the way.

Was no-one tempted by this? It seems a realy low price, especially with the Laser detector thrown in. They just seem a little hazy about when they are actually going to get them in stock. The Road Angel got the star buy award in this months EVO group test.

Speaking as an ex-rider (Bandit 1200, dynojetd, Race can) youve got to realise that although stats have the CBR600 masacreing a 172, unless the roads are dry and clear - or unless the rider has a deathwish - a 172 should be able to hold its own in the real world. The car can take risks that...
