I've used them on 5 or 6 different rs clios with slightly varying results, very much damper dependant! If your dampers are healthy they are fine imo but will amplify any effects of slightly tired dampers. The best results i had were apex and koni adjustables which i thought was a great handling...

mk2/3 golf gti 16v's are also referred to as valvers in the dub community...............when a 16v engine meant performance now your hard pushed to see a car with an 8 valve lump.

We all know about the dephaser issue (rattle,noise) but has anyone had or know of one failing altogehter with catastrophic results?? cheers

I had a 172 cup a couple of years back and the previous owner was 72!! fairplay i say.

I was interested in no16 and was a day away from goin to view but ended up with no145 locally........16 certainly looked mint! mine isn't but it's tidy and was a hell of a lot cheaper so it made sense with it being local.

oh well I just cut and put on spades so can be returned to original fairly easily.......cheers

did you guys just chop and reconnect the wires or can the connections be pulled out and slotted into the new relevant point? cheers

does anyone still do this on an exchange basis anymore? I noticed k-tec dont list it anymore and bbpt are out of business it seems!! cheers
