Changing Mk2 Ph1 rear light cluster to Mk2 Ph2 type

cheers av done that but now i have a few problems

the interior light keeps on and the 3rd brake light is dull?

The connections aren't that good, check the earths good too.

sorted interior light but still dull 3rd brake light all connections seem good and put some extra earths of both sides?

At least your 3rd brakelight works matey, mine dont work at all..

swapped to sport spoiler and now all works fine

did you guys just chop and reconnect the wires or can the connections be pulled out and slotted into the new relevant point?

oh well I just cut and put on spades so can be returned to original fairly easily.......cheers
