mine has snapped off is it needed on car or can i leave it off iff not where abouts can i get the screws from as both have snapped clean off

as above really i have been using autoglym fast glass but it isnt cleaning them properly and they are left with streaky lines going up and down the glass. was thinking about using just normal windolene like but there must be something out there thats good dont wanna be paying too much either...

when the engine is on there is a loud clicking sound coming from the front left of the engine gets worse as i accelerate any ideas???
