Dear Mr ********
Following your recent enquiry I have been making further investigations regarding the number of Clio Williams that were sold and can now provide you with further information -
400 Williams 1
482 Williams 2
308 Williams 3
I hope this...
Hard drives do not have drivers so to speak the run on a generic driver built into the cmos/bios. Could be a corrupt boot sector on the hard drive. When you use it in your desktop are you actually booting from the drive or using it as a slave device ?. It could be many things from a wrongly...
NEVER EVER BUY THE PHILLIPS !!!
Seriously, I worked for a internet based electrical supplier. Out of all the returns the Phillips outweighed the next worse brand for return of faulty goods buy 12/1, no Joke. I spent 130 on a humax. Has a built in 80gb hdd recorder and auto updates it's...
Hi All,
As you probably know I have had problems with my 172 not starting. Well, now that problem seems to be fixed. However, the garage that I took it to reckons the uneven (lumpy) idling is a trait of the car. Its not bad, do not get me wrong but I can feel it slightly at idle. The throttle...
Moved from a Willy 2 (modded) to a 172....172 brakes better but thats about it. Would have my williams back tomorrow if GF would let me ;).
Williams is an icon, so distinguishable....unlike this 172 I now own which looks similar to every other newer clio.
Get a Willy !!! From a 172 owner...
Got it back last sunday, the mechy cleaned up the tdc sensor as it was mucky. All went fine, took it for a run to Greenwich alls well. Went on a few jaunts...alls well. Thursday my Girlfriend took it to lakeside, got a call..car wont start !!!! grrrrrrrrr !!!.
Back in the garage today...no car...
Maybe I was spoiled with the Lowering and mods done to my Willy. Dont get me wrong, the 172 as a whole is a good car, Just not as good as MY ex Willy. Got to agree with Rhys, Nowadays its damn hard to find a good low milage one and Williams was the best car I ever owned.
Regards,
Bill...
Well what can I say......Now I own a 172. All seemed ok, not half as much fun as the Williams and no where near the handling of it, but small sacrifices to make for the likes of aircon, abs, airbags, etc etc. Yeah right, in all the time I owned the Williams, 4 years, nothing to talk about went...
Met up with my Bessie, Katbloke down in Exeter at the weekend....we took a few pix of my old Williams he now owns and my new (to me) 172

Well, hello again all,
Been a long time since I been on here. Story goes like this;
Big changes been made at the ReNWiLL household. Wife buggered off with some younger model (hoorah !), got myself a younger model ;). Mate offered me a ludicrous amount of money for my Williams, far too much...

Hi All,
Just had to revamp my system, out with the autochanger and head unit in with the MP3 Jukebox. The gap was smaller for the jukebox so a temp measure was called for to tidy it til the summer when i get more time.

Rajk, if you have documented proof and good pictures of your poor Williams then chances are you can make a deal with the insurance company, then both agree on a price. Forget about what the Dealers Bible says they are written for dealers to make a tidy profit on top of what...
