iPhones can be checked whether they had been submerged in water, which would be classed as intentional damage.
They look down the stereo point at the top and if its turned pink (believe theres a white indicator) it means its been severely water damaged.
Before commiting to it being shocks.
Try folding the rear seats down, as they can 'knock ' on their latches
sometimes. Worth a look before you throw money at the problem.
Eureka! New ball joints and it drives like an actual car.
Only done 29k and the old ones were as loose as a dogs d**k in a bucket.
Think it's time to get rid of.
i went for the renault ones in the end didnt want to chance it.
However i'm sure it wont be long before these ones need replacing as well, in which case i'll drop you line for some new ones...
cheers
Right. So after changing my fronts shocks after they pissed out oil I now need rear shocks. However I can get some bilstein ones for almost nothing , which is obviously better than paying Renault. My Q Is it ok to have Renault ones on the front and bilsteins on the rear??
I've still got this issue with my car. Haven't had a moment to check anything but it definately sounds like it's turning into a common problem.
Will be interested to hear if you find what's causing this.
In response to getting a bit happy with the right foot. That's what I initially thought it could be and the car justfollowing the camber of the road.
But it seems to happen when coming to a slow and graduale stop, say like when arriving at a red light doing 5-10 mph, the car seems to start...
yeah had it aligned after new shocks went on unless they used the wrong values. ive got the printout still is there anywhere i can check these against? pressures are spot on with brand new exaltos all round. would worn ball joints cause this?
Recently my 05 182 doesnt feel totally in control. under acceleration or pulling up at a junction/lights the steering wheel seems to have a life of its own and pull either way quite strong. any ideas? the front shocks are brand new also.
I had this happen to me the other week late at night on a country road luckily managed to get home though. Real easy to fix the old temp sensor just unscrews (obviously not by hand) and just replace with new one job done. its located under the airbox and has a wires going into it. bout 20 quid...
If your near Watford area I could give you a very reasonable price. For the boiler that is. I'm a heating engineer would be a shame for you to sell your car.
