as said u need the hi vis and warning triangle and also you must have ID on you.full driving liscense, maybe both parts im unsure and also possibly your passport if your not a resident.my parents live out there and think i like to be updated on these things all the time!

if it doesnt happen to sell my options would be to strip the parts that can be removed, exhaust system, brakes, wheels, suspension, seats, phase 2 parts, and then selling the shell with complete engine still in as said its not really an option to strip the engine or id lose it totally.

yes ihavent had it that long but i got signed off work for health issues so was on SSP and then to top that i got made redundant and am still struggling to find some work and i cant afford two cars.

i had the speedo pod off and disconnected everything put them back together one by one and the fuel and temperature seem to be working ok.i cant take it out as im not insured on it but i let it sit and get up to temperature and the guage slowly raised to half way and then just sat there.

yea it shifts pretty well. yea i believe it was theres. no no problems, except it will probably have a flat battery as i havent been using it for a long while due to money!

the front diamond its held on with 3peg type bits, if u get something soft or as i did a thick bit of plastic wrapped in a cloth it just prises off and pops straight back on

my mk1 clio valver was listed as a 4seater and had no rear seats or belts and no problems, same on my polo GT.never had any problems.

as stated erlier in this.you say why stop at 98% but surely 100% is the engine too... replica kit cars have equally big if not bigger engines than the real real things majority of the time. id say do what others have said and put the 16v ones on or blanks.that way your not lying.

could you send me the link to those pics dude. although i found that mine wouldnt start and drains the battery so i tried jump leads and it started.so il have to go get that tested!

chrome up the engine n ITB parts dress up with samcos refurb wheels in black flock dash, roof lining and rear sides half cage cobra misanos in white carbon carbon roof skin, bonnet and boot apart from the chrome n carbon i plan to do most of that anyway!

hey, im having exactly the same problem on a mk2 phase 1 i find it turns over perfectly fine but theres jus no attempt to start! i have ITBs so it takes abit longer anyway but i could do it till the battery dies and not get anything more than it turning over. il have to have a look at my leads...

well ive picked up my 172 on ITBs and am loving it to bits will deffo get along to afew meets when i see some about.

thats my mk2 phase 1 with complete phase 2 rear end, really brings it up to date, i also have the trophy/v6 spoiler i plan to do the phase 2sidestrips at some point too just to update that abit. would love to swap dashs and doorcards bt its mre effort than its worth so im just going to flock the...

cheers for the comments guys. yea i found those videos on youtube of it by post searching on here. i admit afew bits are looking abit rough around the edges but i plan to spend abit of money making it look abit nicer as performance wise its more than enough for me!
