A yearly prob with the 172`s grrrr,what the garage does where i have mine tested is confirm it with VOSA they do this for the cover note. I suggest u take it to back the garage tell them to ring VOSA to confirm its how the car is built or tell em u`ll take it else where,there are plenty of...

Hi i also got 172 cup had this prob try lookin under nearside and u will see a twisted lower stabilising bar.....the rubbers on each end tend 2 wear with harsh acceleration. Up rated versions on offer at Ktec racing or fat washer either end tightened alittle more than usual,it may work its just...

Try Adrian Flux they`re quite cheap i`m same age as u and mine is £478 i think cud be cheaper.

Having the same prob with my 172 its been happenin since had cambelt changed,i certainly wouldn`t n won`t take it to Renault,had prob with rear brakes wouldn`t pass its MOT n Renault told me it could be the master cylinder wen they new very well wat it was...W*****s

I have same issue every god damn year with mine,i got in touch with VOSA last year they confirmed that this is how the car is made,the garage then rung them 2 confirm it which they did but i`m in the same fuckin situation again grrrr. Renault want blowing up tossers they will not give any info...

This is for anyone who`s 172 Cup keeps failing it`s MOT,this is how the car was designed to be rear brakes that r doin nowt:mad:. Anyway get in touch with VOSA give them ur chassis num and they`ll do the rest:rasp:. Happy sportin:D
