as promised. a little update. got the engine and box in, all wired up, just need to put all the fluids in and once i get the new fixings for the race fan to the rad i can put that in and connect all the hoses up. may wait tho and get some black samco's. couple of pics... also...

danny was going to send me his of his ph1 but has said that his linkage bar is the same as he PH2. any idea on what this box is off? to say im pissed of at the minute is an understatement, any help much appreciated on how to get this to fit lol. many thanks mark

i thought i was missing something, anyone got any photos of what im missing to make it easier to find? i bought this box thinking it was complete but have had to buy all the sensors and drain plugs :(

on the old box, was like a black pole that came of bottom of box!! really wana get engine and box back in car so any help really appreciated

im putting a PH1 gearbox onto my PH2 172 but when i had a quick look at my box tonight i noticed the gear linkage on the bottom of the box is different to my previous box! before it was a pole on the bottom of the box which inserted into the linkage pole on the bottom of the lever. now the PH1...

on the new engine i have an alternator set up of a 94 1.8 16v clio as shown here.... i put my custom loom on my engine yesterday and realised when i had my loom made, it was the cup alternator set up on there. now i have lost my power steering, i went to this set up, but the plug on my...

this is how far i got when me and conlon realised the box was wrong lol on the look out for a box with a speed sensor in now :)

if you ever try and turn a power steering rack without a pump you'll no why lol god speed, dont have abs, fully braided hoses in the car with brake bias valve next to gear stick.

little update. got an alternator set up on the clio that doesnt use powersteering, so had to change the rack, gone from this to this clio dci rack had to swap the track rods, and track rod ends, as the 172 ones are slightly longer. but much lighter and only just over 2 turns from...
