Might be a bit late as no doubt I will get lost :rasp:

Don’t think he can reject the car now his driven of the forecourt, he now has to give the dealer adequate time and the chance to fix the problems.
Such a pain in the ass though and not what you want when buying brand new.
RUK seems to be very inconsistent, I phoned them just asking...
Glad you are all ok and you all got out with minimum injures, but ffs calm your driving down mate next time you might not be so lucky, you are playing with not just your life but your passengers as well. I don’t mean to dig at you as you probably feel bad enough but I lost a mate who hit a wall...
That’s a non cup 197 with the toys, did you let the car warm up before booting it? The 197 is very hesitant for the fist 5-10min, reduced power, jumpy etc
There was a rumour going around years ago that if you unlocked the car from a distance and someone had a PDA or something with special software they could read the code signal that was being sent, don’t know how true that is.
That’s why I love the 197 locking system, press the lock twice...
If no one purchased brand new cars then there would be no used car market, remember that when saying “I would never spend 15k on a Renault” people who do keep the market going.
Anyway 15k is about the going rate; other people have posted up saying they spent 18k now that’s a lot.

If they do a good job then go for it, but sounds very cheap to me. I was quoted from £200 - £280 to powder coat all four calipers on my 197.
So to get all that done for £250 is very cheap indeed.
I don’t get it so much now but people used to question why I am on my 3rd Clio, and tbh I have never had any problems with any of them. Had an L reg RL and that kept going for ages until a bad repair on wing rusted and had to have welding done.
Buy ye some people just don’t understand.
I had a play with TC/ESP turned off tonight in my 197, so much better. Only have to tap the loud pedal and it revs so more freely, also throwing it round bends you can get back on the power and storm out.
I found even when the light was not flashing it was kicking in, don’t think I would...
Mate that’s a right s***er, just before xmas as well.
Had some tool cut me up on a roundabout the other day as well, had to slam my brakes on as he was pushing me on to central reservation into a railing.
So many incapably drivers out there its unreal.
Did you not take out GAP I...
