Yes, this is needed. What do you recommend? It's garage all year round and only does a couple of thousand a year, but i really don't want it going all rusty.

They're going up in price now, that's for sure. i think you'd struggle to get it back to that standard for 4k, but i might be wrong. But i guess you get the brunt of it bag. Carbon splitter is sick! on the list hehe

Managed to find some time today to fit the ARB. Nice bit of kit and well made. It's very easy to fit and take not longer than 30 minutes. Just need to check and give a little clean and it's good to test. Might tax it for April :-)

SO after 4 months of nothing and really not much to do, i've decided to start work on the car again. Started off with the purchase of a new ARB from whiteline UK. Once this is on, i'll take a look at what else i can get done. Eyeing up some Brembo's as well... Whiteline UK Sale end...

Few weeks ago i did a track day at cadwell, great track and clio was pretty good. It was extremely hot though, so a only 5/6 laps at a time. Don't have anymore plans at present. Just a trickle charge and clean at best...

It's brilliant, having the stick higher is so much better. I do need to add the short shifter, which i'll do in the next few weeks.

Not long, but my bolts were not rusty. Takes about 20/30 mins a side depending on all your tools. i've just got a 5mm hub spacer on mine now.

Ha, yeah it's ok. We have a group of us going up there. It's not the most exciting and the bigger powered cars are a lot better around it.

@andy_coops did his thing today and polished and coated the Clio. It’s currently off the road for winter, so why not... While it’s off the road, I’ll do a few maintenance jobs ready for a track day in April. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a new ARB for the rear.

I’ve managed to finish the shocks as the weather has been nice an warm. I’ve finished them off with 1k Lacquer, so I’m hoping that will hold out. The final finish isn’t perfect, but I think they’ll be ok. Next up is some stickers? and then get them fitted.

Yep, i do think slightly stiffer dampers and potentially an rear ARB will help a little more, but this setup is pretty good. I'm not out to smash lap times etc, although i did time a few 9mins laps of the ring, however chasing times at the ring is a dangerous game to play.

Decided to go with a small damper upgrade. Purchased some second hand Koninadjustables from a forum member, they were ok, but thought I’d get them strip down and re painted. Condition was ok, but not quite good enough for the car. Back and stripped Gone with some Fiat Broom Yellow...

It's new year, so i thought i'd start doing a few more upgrades. Purchased a scenic shifter and yanno 3.o in it, which fit's in nicely with a little adjustment to the gaiter. Little upgrade on the speakers, i know it's not that important, but i need tunes when driving to track...
