I lowered mine on Eibach springs:
This is what it looked like before:
I don't think the ride is any more harsh than it was standard since the run flats make it a pretty rough ride.
I have no knocking from lowering it. The handling is a lot more planted I would say, the car rolls a lot less...
CSS?
Nah Im never done with fast cars, I just go through phases where I can't be arced to spend money on Tax and petrol.
Well Ive done everything I wanted to do, I fit my intercooler filter and plugs. Just need to fit my pulley and it should be running about 215bhp. :)
Nah I come on all the time.
One day I will own a 200, once they have come down a bit in price. Loving the Cooper S right now though and handles amazing so I don't miss the old 172 too much, It's not as fast as my 172 was but it will be soon ;)
I need to see your 197 sometime :)
Maybe so mate but he took one look at me pulled in front of me slowed down and did a wheel spin off around the roundabout. Absolute **** driving and he must have said something to his mates in the car because they were looking round to see if I would race them which I wouldn't do.
Chris you...
Well seems like Trophy's are getting into the wrong hands.
Saw me on the roundabout decided to do a s**te wheel spin infront of me with all the slags in your car.
Wasnt impressed and Im sure they weren't either.
Yeah same mate, when I was 14 me and my dad were up Hartside and a biker colided with a wall and was dead at the scene, my dad and the other rider were waiting by for the Ambulance to get by, dad didn't tell me he was dead at the time but told me when we got home.
I might come to this but I'm scared I'll cook my brakes, before I bought it they fit cheap pads and very little braking and they smoke and overheat very very quickly.
Haha thanks mate,
The plate itself is the same size it's just the font that is smaller.
No idea where it's from.
Thanks mate, I think the subtle changes make a big difference.
It has Raceland Coilovers :(
If I had my own way it would either have some Gaz or Bilstein B15's.
Thanks Will!
Well...
Today gave it a wash, first one since coming back from USC.
I had the rolling road graph laminated:
All the pictures I took today of how it looks now.
This was the name of our Club stand at USC lol:
Hope you like them all.
I am possibly thinking of selling up.
Not...
Ha this guy tried racing me in my Ph1, he's an idiot though he did it with a bairn in the back.
Seems like a bit of a chav tbh and it sounded awful.
The exhaust it has on mate is a Magnex.
Looks same as mine.
I bought mine with them already on, they seem ok.
I think they are too stiff and a bit 'jumpy' when cornering and applying a bit too much throttle.
haha that's decent, I always think Ph1's make good power, seems like the thing with Mk1 and Mk2 VTS's. for whatever reason Mk1's always make better power.
Thanks mate. She sure does pull well.
- Clio V6 Airbox with ITG Filter and 102mm cold air pipe.
- Ktec straight through decat.
- Ktec stealth system.
- Matched inlets.
- RS tuner remap.
Before the rolling road arguments start I will say it was making good times and before I went on dyno...
