    i think it be one of the brown relays under the bonnet just try swapping think its the bottom one with the middle or top, if i remember rightly the bottom one is the injection the other one is a fan and one is something else

    i dont agree, but wont cause an argument...make sure you get the crank pully off and make sure thats free as if its seized the belt wont be tensioned propley.

    I dont agree, sorry but it wont destroy your engine. if you have the crank pin and cam locking tools thats enough UNLESS the timing is out then you will need that tool to help loosen and tighten the pullys. Its not essential there are other ways of doing it.

    Have you checked the wiring, i know they have a problem with the wiring rubbing on top of the gear box's and will get water ingress normally a red wire...with your 3 brown relays its the bottom one. thats the relay that will talk to the injection computer, i think the other one is the fan...

    It will be on the drivers mirror on the underneath you will have a black 'nobbley' bit...thats your outside temp sensor. 99% of the time its that one..not sure if you can buy one serperatly from a mirror unit...its basically 2 black wires that go to that sensor.
