I'm trying to get a 2nd hand genuine clutch ratchet for my ph1 16v. £88.80 from renault.:( does anyone know if they are the same as the 5 GT turbo ones? it shares so many other parts I was hoping it may share this too.

Mine did as you describe when the CAT collapsed internally. Obviously it cant be that as youve removed yours but I would say its CAT or lamda sensor related.

:dapprove: well the speedo stopped working altogether last night. Are the 2 things related? :S

I had to rewire the TPS last year and I checked wiring and it seems ok, better check it again. The speedo earth.... Is there anything at the gearbox end that could fail rather than behind the clocks??? I had a new clutch recently.

Hi there I have an issue with tickover. Its fine when you first start the car but after some hard driving it will start to tickover at 1500rpm. If you switch off and back on again (microsoft solution ;) ) it ticks over fine again until the next time you rev it up. Any ideas?
