Out of the 172 ph1 and 172 ph2 (non cup)?
I'm after something that can be used as a daily but can also be driven to and from a track day and for weekend blasts.
Are they similar to drive? The prices of both seem to be crossing over and originally I wanted a ph2 however the ones at the...
Just a thread seeing what settings people have got on with really.
Has anyone done a day of setting up their track car? Are they quite responsive to set up changes?
Done a search but can't find anything.
Did the ph2 172 come with any sort of baffled sump or oil slosh prevention?
If not is there much need for one for a track car/fast road car? Or does the standard setup prove good enough.

And bottom end, when do rod bolts need changing for stronger items?
Are they pretty responsive engines to cams?

Anyone know what's needed to fit a 1.8 16v from the 16v Clio to a Mk1 ph2 Derv?
Is it a simple case of ECU and engine/engine mount and drops straight in, or does it need mounts fabricating and 16v gear box?
Are clutch and flywheel interchangable?
