what is the difference in ford and renault offset? I have been offered some ford fitment alloys and I wondered if they will be o.k for my mk 2 clio?

I have a mk2 clio, I have the opportunity to buy a set of 16 inch alloys but they are a ford fitment. what is the offset difference between ford and renault or are they similar? any advice would be really helpful.

Has anyone ever fitted an espace splitter to a mk2 clio? My car will be in the bodyshop next week and I could kill two birds with one stone and have one fitted and sprayed while its in. I want it to look mean and low but I dont want it to look stuck on. Has anyone got any advice?

I have a MkII 1.6 16v 2001 Rsi Clio, Y reg. I want to look into putting on 17inch wheels. Does anyone have any experience of this, advice or tips, and any problems that I might encounter!? Cheers, Lee
