Anyone know of a decent body shop in the Wimbledon (SW London) area? Some little mailto:b@stard"> b@stard has tried to scratch their name into the tailgate of my Williams and Im not impressed!
Any suggestions as to what to do with the little sh!te once I catch who ever did it are also...
I wouldnt call it a handbook as such, but I got an additional booklet for my Williams when I bought it. Got the usual Clio manual as well, but got this additional thing as well, I presume other Williams owners got the same........?
Mike Lord, Willimas 1 (no 226) based in Croydon, Surrey

ps addy for Pmitchell site is http://www.cliowilliams.co.uk/http://www.cliowilliams.co.uk/ although it doesnt seem to have been updated recently
Ei, standard clutch can be a bit of a pain in traffic, especially if youre 6" plus like moi. That said, out of town the standard clutch seems pretty well balanced to me - not too heavy so that you have to ram youre foot through the floor, but not too light so that it feels like a wet lettuce...
Kelly, I get a similar intermittent problem with the gauges on my Williams
Every now and again the oil temperature gauge will stop working, but then seems to spring back into life after a while. Been meaning to get it replaced, but I never seem to get round to it - anyone any idea where I can...
Date of Purchase: Jul 2002
Price: £6000
Year: 1993
Model: Clio Williams (no 226)
Was thinking I got gipped, but considering the car has been chipped and just had a full new Magnex exhaust system, then maybe not!
Mike
Ive used various different ones:
Turtle Wax - not too bad, pretty standard stuff
Mer - which is good but seems to use a lot when you put it on (can fade quickly too)
AutoGlym - which is the Mutts, but is expensive
Teflon - just started using this stuff but seems to be doing ok at the...
Jas
I put my name down for one but wont be able to make it to Brands to pick it up - most upset as touring the Willy round the Hatch would have been quality. :@
You say they cant be posted, so is there anyone who lives near Croydon (Surrey) who could pick one up for me if I send off the...

I have Concept 300 and it caused me headaches for a while too - the muts when it comes to deterring theives tho!
If you dont have any luck geting hold of a manual from your local Clifford stockist give me a shout and Ill send you a photocopy of mine - not the perfect solution, but at least...
I have to disagree and say that the Willy 1 is the best of the bunch, although as many people have pointed out they are extremely rare and people do ask silly money for them.
From what Ive been told, the original 400 were based on the race chasis used in the Cliocup competition and built in...
Buy the Willy!
172 is a quality vehicle, but you just cant beat the ride and handling on the Willy. I got one of the original 400 and if you can get your hands on one of these babies go for it. The Willy 2 & 3 are just as good, but they lack the magic of the orginal ones!

You thinking of buying something from MCS direct then are you adam?
Word of warning, depending upon what it is you want it might take a while for them to get it. They seem to hold virtually no stock, or at least thats my experience when I ordered my Alpine head unit. Took nearly six weeks...
I agree with Tony.
Had to get a new alarm fitted to my willy after the Gemini (?) alarm that was on there went t*ts up! After much searching I finally went for a Cliford Concept 300 - £300 fitted! Not only does it squeal like a pig should anyone get too close but brings down the old...
If theyre more than just bulbs, howd they differ from "normal" headlights?
I got a Willy, which Im guessing pre-dates Xenon technology, which hasnt exactly got the brightst set of eyes. Im guessing that these "xenon type" bulbs you can get are not as effective as true xenon - any ideas how to...
