Looks like the levels of blue have been turned up too much on that photo judging by the colour of the snow. Either that or the white balance is out on the Digital Camera
cheers mate, I agree with what your saying about keeping it standard. I'm sure I will do. Besides, the loud exhaust would annoy my neighbours! I would quite like some Speedline Turinis as it would still look OEM but they are expensive!
cheers, for the time being I'm going to change the rear lights back to standard. I'm happy with the car even when standard but some of the things I'd like to do are: get some lightweight 16" wheels, get a Ktec exhaust with a small cut out on the bumper so the tailpipe is visible, and uprate the...
Thanks guys, I am looking to buy some standard rear lights this week as I'm fed up of my car's chavvy appearance from the back. My camera is a Nikon D40 by the way. Is only a cheap DSLR but it has more flexibility than most point and shoot cameras I've used.
Thanks everyone! Yeah I know the rear lights are shocking and I hate lexus style lights more than most people. I'm not a ClioSport member so can't view the for sale board, but would love some standard rear lights if anyone has some for sale?
Austin-182: cheers mate, the clear side repeaters...
Hi, here are a few pics of my standard Clio Sport 172 in Iceberg Silver.
The rear lights were already on the car when I bought it :-( I added the clear side repeaters though.
Hi sorry to resurrect an old thread. My heater resistor must be broken as it only stays on full blast all the time.
How did you repair it for £13 an was it easy to do?
thanks
I find that the heavy clutch gets really annoying when sitting in stop-start traffic, but when on the open road it feels fine to me.
Build quality wise it's no Rolls Royce :-) but I find it acceptable. In a way it's good that they're not well made because if they were they'd no doubt be heavier...
Hi, can anyone confirm if the Stoplock pro fits the Phase 2 Clio 172 wheel?
I've used the Stoplock on my previous wheels and it's fitted fine, but I can't get it to fit the clio due to the chunky airbag. Does it have to be secured a different way on the steering wheel?
haha, bet she wasn't too happy with you for that! My ex used to scream sometimes if I went round a corner sharply and she'd grab hold of the Jesus handle.
I think that's why my friends are always surprised by my car, because none of them are into cars. In fact the only person I know who is into cars is my dad and he doesn't seem to think any high performance cars feel quick, including Ferraris and TVR's that he's driven.
I've given a few lifts to various friends lately and it always makes me laugh how the same observations are always made. i.e, I drive them sedately and they don't make any comments, yet whenever the car nears the redline they always say, "wow, this car's quite quick actually, what size engine...
Re: RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discu
I agree with you that it's not the best quality car in the world, but the whole point of Clio Sports is that they offer a fantastic package of acceleration and handling for such a low budget. Having owned a...
hope it's not dog bone mounts! I had one fail on my previous car (Golf Mk4) due to fitting an uprated poly bush. It ripped the dog bone mount from the bottom of my engine :( so if it's that I'd probably just want a standard mount this time and not a polyurethane one.
