I would agree with Weyland and TB1, ABS is my get out of jail free card, i would say i have had a good drive, eg across snake pass, if i had manged to avoid it activating during the drive, by using judgement or cadence braking where necessary to avoid having to brake and steer at the same time...
Ok, The Astra coupe i drove wasnt a turbo but it wouldnt go in a straight line either, but Vauxhall dont actually make very good cars anymore do they?
You will find however, being as they have little development money, the new vauxhall engines with turbo technology are in fact...
Dont take that too seriously, I just love a good motor, and the valver in my household is becoming a 172 in Jan simply cos that motor is the best £11K any person could spend on a car. No arguments, I look at my beemer and the 172 in the same light, souped up shopping carts that belong on the track!
Rob, you do need to rev it, but it goes all the way in any gear and will leave you searching for a cog thanks to the abundance of torque.
Its the worlds only 100% car IMO, and it sounds like you havent mastered the art of SMG yet, you dont just get in and drive like an F1 maestro. Its taken me...

Very well done, You win todays internet quest for the truth!!!
One thing though, you mentioned poppet valves earlier on, you could actually get sued for that terminology,as Cosworth Engineering hold the patent for that name as it defines there Air Operated Spring Return valves on RV10 F1...

BMW have only coughed up because a number of other M3s have also suffered blown engines that have never been on the track, all failures occured in cars built between Nov 01 and March 02 have had engine failures (piston through the block) and a fix is under way. It still doesnt mean you can go...

Nothing you can do apart from wait for the light to come on, and hope your not to far from an Optimax fountain. Not sure if the low fuel light is a float switch or not though.

I wouldnt worry to much about over reving these engines when they are new and pussying about, drive them like you intend to drive it (but not to the limiter) but with three rules:
Absolutely not until it is well and truly warm,
Always vary the engine revs, so it beds in evenly at all speeds...

Im no expert on clios but i have had this on another car, the groan was the relief valve lifting all the time cause the pressure was too high, and it used to go Heavy for no reason when turning. Does the cap have a vent in it? if so it should bleed itself. Try loosening the cap and turning it...

I love hot hatches, they are stupidly quick shopping carts. My girlfriends valver will shortly be replaced with a brand spunker 172 cos its the best cart around, at an imported £12k, if we could get an ST170 for them pennies then we would, cos they the ultimate drivers tool this side of £15k, I...
