Get it... I have just been forced into selling my impreza by the wife cos we now have a child and she has drpped to part time at work and i am gutted.....you only live once and if you can truly afford this and are really serious do it or you will forever regret it when you get married and have...
I have bought an eezibleeder now. always done it old school before but tried on the clio and feels a little spongy. I think one of the bleed nipples be passing a little through the threads when its loosened off so this should prevent sucking air in hopefully
heard a rumour that you could view previous mots now that they are all on a computerised database. Dunno how true it is but it might show mileage for previous tests. Might be worth investigating?
fm tuner less than 20 notes mate works for me and the wife......... Try ebay, halfrauds, maplin makro......... This list is non exhaustive lol
Plugs in to iphone and sends music to stereo via fm. You simply tune stereo to desired frequency and there you go.
all you have listed above is unlikely to be the cause. It is a problem with the immobiliser circuit if the light is flashing I would bet. Its likely to be either your keyfob, the receiver ring on the ignition barrel or the immobiliser itself which is hard wired into the ecu direct. Would still...
hopefully mate......... Check all terminals on battery holder are deffo done on both keys......... Don't want this happening miles from home like happened to me lol
yes mate no battery no power.
with mine whenever i pressed unlock button it worked fine as i was preeing the terminals of the battery holder to the board.... unbeknown to me lol.....until i stripped key.
if neither key is working though it makes me wonder.
try these things yourself though...

here it is wasnt very in depth though. Could do with a full guide oin this including checking pistons and the like.
search for immobiliser problems through the forums search facility I think through reading these you'll find a few quick fixes that may work ie the process of holding interior locking button in aswell as keyfob button for 10th secs to re configure the keys. Also other possibilities such as...
not trying to be rude mate sorry came across wrong......... Too many people scare monger on the site so check the easy stuff first it works for most as the keys are the most likely to break
Hence its not the starter motor. It is the immobiliser circuit by sounds of it so check the key first like I said. Its a 30 second job.
No point asking for more ideas if your not gonna try the ones suggested.
split the key housing and check the battery holder is soldered to the circuit board properly on all 4 corners. I was having the same trouble and was worried ££££££ lol. Anyway re-soldered connections on battery holder and voila...
I am sure I read a guide on cleaning and overhauling a front caliper somewhere on the site but cant for the life of me find it. Anybody know where it is?
I am planning on doing aux belt and tensioner as per my service schedule but wanna know if its linked in with timing of vehicle or not. Will I need to lock timing in TDC or not? Also is water pump in timing belt circuit or aux belt circuit?
its a ph2 172 btw
probs should have been more specific lol......... I understand a 1.2 caliper will be smaller I was wondering more along the line of a megane or scenic model that needs more stopping power. Cheers
seriously mate..........take them off clean them, clean the disc where they mount and reinstall...........its things like this that discourage lots of people using them.
btw if they are still wobbling they may be bent? I am a machinist by trade and suggest its more likely abit of sh.t between...
ok guys new member with a problem. immobiliser is intermittently not switching off when i go to start the car. key was in a poor state when i got it so this may be the issue. however to solve problems i figure i will get the immobiliser taken off the car. does anyone know of anyone in the...
