I have a 1.2 16v mk2 ph2, im getting mayo in the filler cap but.. i still get hot air, car starts and drives fine no misfires etc, no smoke either, loses no water and there is no oil in the water. i do a few miles a day maybe 15 max. i did an oil change and engine flush and it got rid of it...
thats alright then mines on 114k, i have done 3k in it and its had, new pedal assembly, water pump, thermostat, cambelt, drop links, 3 bulbs since new year, cv boots and a few more bits but also needs oil + filter change, track rod ends, wishbone bushes.. the central locking sometimes skips out...
my exhaust sounds raspy, my stepdad has 3 and there all like it so i presume its just a normal thing. my drivers window whistles, drop links are knocking, heater tube in the dash is loose, central locking is iffy.. i can go on? :)
is the block from a mk2 ph1 (1.2 8v) the same as the mk2 ph2 (1.2 16v) i know the head and most other things are different just wondering about the block?
you care more about the car - you dont smoke in the car because you dont want it to smell
you dont care about your lungs - you smoke=slowly killing yourself
i think that describes what he was saying
i dont smoke but no body smokes or eats in my car. as for the metal bits i HATE it. If anyone leans forward in my car they get a bruised forehead ;) and the flinging of seatbelts is a no no.. oh and i hate clumsy people. End
fair play at the diy paint job mate, i reckon the ph2 sport bumper would of smartened up the back end a bit (thats not an order btw haha) looks too standard apart from the paint obviously
