Dont know if anyone can help, ive got a noisey dephaser pulley on my clio but i have a spare one which was working ok in a previous engine, just wondered if there is any way you have to lock these pulleys or set them up before putting them on the new engine? cheers
Test the lambda sensor first if you have a tester to do it, if the sensor doesnt solve the problem then chances r it will b your cat mate. lambda readings are basically oxygen so that maybe high from the hole in the exhaust.
Proberley the driveshaft inner joint has broken away mate> Also there is a cir clip that snaps inside the casing of the gearbox, to check that just remove the nearside driveshaft and you will see whether its still there or not!
