    Yeah sounds like an old transit van when warm, spoke to a dude at renault today you have to put a little pick inside the oil galleries and try twist the centre, itll either click into place which means its locked or it wont move which also means the same. So goin to wack it on friday. The pulley...

    Dont know if anyone can help, ive got a noisey dephaser pulley on my clio but i have a spare one which was working ok in a previous engine, just wondered if there is any way you have to lock these pulleys or set them up before putting them on the new engine? cheers

    Possible bent calliper carriers?

    Have the checked if the pistons are siezed or tight? And did the disc turn ok when the caliper and pads were off the car?

    try riddling the alternator whilst pressing the bolt in, may jus not be quite in line.

    mines gone also< luckily i have a spare one, but unsure if you have to "set the pulley up or not before i fit it?

    MOT fail... help please!

    Test the lambda sensor first if you have a tester to do it, if the sensor doesnt solve the problem then chances r it will b your cat mate. lambda readings are basically oxygen so that maybe high from the hole in the exhaust.

    Gerabox/drive shaft problem, Help Please!!

    Proberley the driveshaft inner joint has broken away mate> Also there is a cir clip that snaps inside the casing of the gearbox, to check that just remove the nearside driveshaft and you will see whether its still there or not!
