Hope u get this sorted soon! Someone must know how to reset the alarm or just disconnect it! I'm glad just unplugging the hazard switch sorted mine. Gonna go down the scrappy and see if I can get hold of one! Good luck!

so how do I get the button out? will it come out with a bit of force down the side of the button to flip it out, or am I going to have to remove the surrounding panel?
mine did the same yesterday. took the fuse out so battery wouldn't die. but same trouble no indicators because of it. haven't tried taking the button out yet as my car is parked about 5miles away. couldn't get it home because of snow =[
got couple days to find a solution, but hopefully both mine...
I've tried wobbling the switch around a bit yesterday in order to try to get it out, but didn't budge. Does the surrounding panel need to be removed first? If so, what's the easiest way to get it off? Can't really do much until the snow clears and I can get back down to the car. Got over a foot...
My 172 received a slight frontal knock yesterday in the snow (thank god no damage!) but since then my hazard lights won't go off!

Hello, this is the said friend who has the 306.
Kirsty had it wrong with the air blockage, i hadn't said that. Is a cable. I understand that with the 306 which is also renound for heavey clutches, because the cable with age just becomes stiff and can be sorted by replacing the cable. I just...
Mine's my everyday car so she does get some use! Been persuaded to bring it up by some lads on the Club306 forum, maybe they're changing sides =]

Thanks on that =] It could be that I'm just used to smaller-engined cars that have light clutches. One of my friends has a 1.4 Clio and he said mine is heavy to his. Maybe I'll get used to it eventually!
Ok, I've had my 172 a week and to me the clutch is really heavy =[ trying to hold the car still on hilled junctions is pretty hard and pulling away can't seem to be done with any speed without wheel spinning! Wheel span I have done in front of the Rozzers =/ luckily they didn't say anything...
Hi
I purchased my 172 a week ago, and I have to say I love it! The power, the looks, the engine rumble, the works!
But I am in need of some advice on her ...
