Having decided to change the brake fluid and taken the advice of club members I bled the brakes in the following order with all the wheels jacked up and off the ground
nearside rear
offside front
offside rear
nearside front
I found that the new fluid came through at the rear reasonably...
I had a set of Eibach pro's fitted to standard dampers a few months back, they subtley lower the car, however the ride is quite crashy, noticeably more than normal. Handling wise, it's hard to say, the car feels like it rolls slightly less. On the whole I'd get some coilovers.
I am attempting to do a brake fluid change on my phase 1 172. Can anyone tell me if I need to de-pressureise the system (if so how) and in which wheel order I should bleed the brakes. Am doing my first track day at Bedford autodrome next Saturday and am desparately trying to get car tip top...
