Just removed a faulty Hazards switch from the dash but now, for some reason, my central locking button doesn't illuminate and lock unless i shut the passenger door too.
In the past I have used this function all the time as my fob sets off my alarm, so normally press the CL...
Got the switch out but now I cant lock my doors by pressin the central locking button and locking the passenger door! Have to use my key fob which sets off my alarm for about 30 secs! Nightmare. Any ideas?

The hazard lights switch on my 182 is completely non-responsive.
When I press it, it doesnt click into place and the lights do not work. Does this need a replacement switch and if so, how do I remove the centre console panel to do it?

My rear pads and discs need fitting on my 182. I'm aware that the discs have the bearings fitted but do these need to be pressed or is this something I can do with on my driveway with a hammer? Also is the readjustment of the handbrake shoes easy to do?

If I use a part sythetic after a full service (which I think the service centre has...) would u suggest topping up with part of full synthetic?
Or should I call the garage, bollock them and demand they drain it and refill it?

Just a quick one.
When I lock my Clio 182 with the key fob (and presumably arm the alarm!) I get a single high pitched tone which lasts about 30 - 60 secs.
Any comments/ideas? I assume this is a fault?

I completely agree. I'm getting my cambelt and aux belt replaced next month including tensioners and water pump.
It's £620 using genuine Renault parts but that's acceptable when compared to the cost of an engine rebuild!
