Hi recently bought a clio 200 cup.
Higher mileage car but very tidy and strong service history, been well looked after and will be cherished and cleaned within an inch of its life over winter. Have some plans for the car, including making it a very clean own plus clubsort spec car.
Believe it...
Hi guys, after coming away from my nigh on concours 172 cup in 2016 I am potentially back in the market for a nicely prepped and clean 172/182.
Anyone considering selling?
I sold mine recently for 6k with 53k miles, it was not far off concours condition, nigh on standard and original paint, and to me it was worth every penny as examples such as the one I sold are incredibly rare and will only go up in value.
I had it for 6 years, a big shame I couldn't hold onto...
Coolio, it's not an easy task keeping a car to that standard, a detailer will definitely help you in guiding you the right way with sealants etc, they are the way forward.
Will be great to see it when you get all those bits on, shame I didn't get round to fitting them myself.
Looking great mate, love the temporary garage.
Always looks so good in pictures, great to see that you look as keen as was in keeping it looking it's best. It has to be the most pampered cup out there
Lovely cup, really impressed with what you've done so far. There great little cars, I would find it hard to part with mine now after putting so much time into it.
Have you got a link to the coolant bottle, I could do with one to
It's come a long way since I first bought it. My original plans were to change the seats and half cage it etc and go along the same lines of a Meg r26r, but it's just such a good example of a standard cup it would be a shame to change anything on it, and I think in the long run will be worth...
Been a long time since I updated this. So much has changed in that time, I still have the car and no intentions on selling it just yet.
It has become a car that me and my other half appreciate owning and driving as and when we fancy it. Apart from that it is very pampered and I enjoy improving...

Thankyou, means a lot getting all these nice comments.
Haha yeah she is patient, but she is a busy person as she is a teacher etc and so spends many evening in front of a laptop planning etc while I will grab some time in the man cave.
I use some days off to work on it to, but the wife really...
Thanks Steve, I feel really lucky to own it and have been able to do what I have with it. I've tryed so hard to keep it standard. I've upgrade the usual bushes and brake lines etc but that's just to make it a better car. I think the itg air intake is the only thing non standard on it. I don't...
No probs, I will try and do a bit of project post or something for it on here.
I'm going to try and get the car along to Blyton for the cliosport event on there 1st-3rd July. Tempted to do the show and shine with it.
We took it on a road trip last year to Scotland, really good fun. We covered nearly 2000 miles in week and used a lot of fuel but it never missed a beat and got very dirty lol.
