Had a quick search but nothing solid found, how hard is it to replace an inner steering rack gaiter? Just failed MOT on this, rear shocker and hazards not flashing in phase, shocks and switch I can handle but have recently done a CV boot and vowed never again, not sure whats involved in...
lol, yep, Unipart, had a BTB on, but the neighbours didn't seem too keen on it at 6:30 in the morning, actually just talking to joe @ BTB about the super silenced back box, this kinder egg ones already blowing, just after the years warranty too!

as i remember, it's as simple as lift bonnet, remove engine cover, reach down to rear of box, and it's either a pull or twist on speedo sensor once unplugged...replace and job done.
I concur with the tyres, dealer put two on the front of mine before i could protest, they really undermine the car, i think the bare rims would be better, so i too am looking forward to some better boots. Looks good btw :)

my clio did this, really random, would work for 100 or so blips and then the next unlock it would go off. had a new battery of the RAC when i left my lights on and alarm hasnt played up once since. maybe get battery tested?
