I use winter tyres mate they make a massive difference and up your way I'd say are a must.
If you keep your eyes on the bay and scumtree you'll find a cheap set of wheels, just stick the winters on them and use for the worst couple of months and they should last you 2-3 winters (ish...
Well on mine I did the fog light surrounds, bottom and top grill, scuttle panel, window wiper bottom cover bitties, splitter, wing mirrors, rear bumper strip and rear wiper base/arm. Basically all the plain plastics.
Plenty threads on this but I couldn't find an answer, I've just received a pair of rears off a guy on here but they are either oil only or the gas has escaped both of them.
Damping is smooth and stiff but they do not return to a position the way that aftermarket shocks do, is this right...
Painted my alloys the other day, on my mates advice rather than mask the tyre I left it then just tyre painted them black.
Looks utter gash, but fortunately is peeling off quick anyway ;)
What a weird thing to worry about!
Your almost right, If you have an ABS equipped car that should come on and go off and there should be an emissions light, over on the right is airbag seatbelt engine management and shift indicatorgenerally as long as nothing is on or flashing whilst driving...
I believe the damping rates on the cup rear shocks are slightly different from the other models, some folk say its just the fronts that are different but the codes vary.
Anyway the easy answer is yes they will fit.
Renault parts department are only 49 quids each for them though
Pass, I would say it might have something to do with the switch itself above the brake pedal but that's a total guess! Hopefully someone else knows more :S
What dsays our mate say about it?
yep I'd second that, could be a daft wee sensor somewhere, leak on the inlet (though usually that would mean a high idle and no throttle), or maybe an issue with the throttle? I'd say it needs plugged in somewhere mate
most likely your ABS ring or sensor mate, easiest thing to do is find a local garage with a fault reader, get it plugged in and find out, in the meantime you can drive but your ABS and traction won't work
I usually use rainsport 2s but last time around bought the toyo t1rs, big mistake tbh
So if it comes down to a choice of the 2 without a doubt it's gotta be the rs2s
Thats my advise anyway :)
I changed mine on the cup, hugely better, as I recall most people on here did it themselves following a guide, there was one guy on here willing to do it if you sent him the parts
6000 k on mine, no issues they are pretty white.
I mounted the ballasts under the slam panel (think that's what it's called?) the bit the bonnet latches onto above the radiator, I mounted them to that just by the headlights
