Right update time! So i recently sourced out a 172 at the scrapyard! and had the interior out of it! Good find in honesty (Thanks to my mate) due to the interior is actually in really good condition! Got front seats and rear just going to clean them up abit and they will be all good...

62k on the clock, cat c write off only problem with it is the front bumper and the front left suspension arm!

yeah true fact, i went up earlier he told me 1000 for the whole thing (i already have the seats) Tbh it is quite tempting... im unsure as what to do! apparently the engine doesnt have many miles on either

You think? il ask him how much they would want for the write off then i guess! i just love my clio being black so it would be more of a buy the write off take the parts i need sell the rest :)

Well my friend rang me yesterday time to tell me that he thinks there is a phase 1 172 up the scrapyard... which with me owning a 1.6 16v got me thinking! Went down there and to my surprise there was! got the front and rear seats for £100, and well im going to go back up today to see what else...

Who's stands is everybody on? i too have a weekend ticket so il be down in my stealthed clio :) I will be with the East Midlands Modified Lot, we arent in a stand but theres quite a damn few of us!

Urhh.. to get mine to fit i just took the bumper off put it in the tow eye hole with a bolt i bought from halfords and well it fit :D

A small update for people! I have had my alloys sprayed black to go for the full stealthed look!

Cheers for the input mate :) but basically the interior light wont go off due to it thinks the door is still open, its doing my head in haha. I think some of the wiring has came loose behind the sensor

Right guys so basically my car has been up on axle stands for the weekend while my alloys got sprayed, All went well on that behalf but when i lowered the car down yesterday night i went to lock it and well? the car locks but it thinks one of the doors is still open when it quite clearely isnt...

Right so i bought an ashley exhaust for my 1.6 16v clio mk1 phase 1. And in honesty its gave me nothing but s**t! I mean its gave the car gains and before anybody complains i know it has as ive tried it against my friends c2 vtr (Remapped) which before i couldnt beat but with the exhaust now...

The car has came along way and looks mint also! haha I bet its a proper b*****d having to change tyres after every track day, i want to start up but its not really in my cash flow to at the moment!

Cheers guys! Regarding the tow strap its in a show place in that photo, however on the other side you have the bolt hole for the tow eye, just go down halfords get a bolt to that size 85mm i think? don't take me up on it! Then bumper needs to come off if you want it fitted properly and bolted...

Yeah i use Back to Black on my splitter mirror sides door handles below wipers etc :D It does the trick mate and if your cars black (Like mine) makes it look colour coded... nearly ;) haha

Don't you worry, il be moving it around constantly, i think the next one will be close to the Lincoln area if thats any closer to you? Even saying that though it was hugely worth the drive the last one i organised... 100+ attended, Jap, french, track, euro whatever you wanted it came haha...
