I am staggered by the mpg some of you are getting! Bodes well for my ring trip later this year, had been concerned I would have the only car incapable of doing the 200 odd miles after we get off the ferry in Holland!
Another small update and what should have been significant! The brake calipers arrived back yesterday afternoon from SSL. Cracked straight on and had them all fitted inside 2 hours.
However there was an issue when I went to attach my pressure pump to do a fluid flush/bleed. Yes the cap...
I have always been lead to believe if something isn't there it cannot fail. Bit like a rear wiper, if the blade is defective it is a fail but if the whole arm has been removed it is a pass...
Yeah I have just realised that photo is actually before I raised it up. This is a photo as of yesterday, raised the rears onto the highest spacer and the fronts were raised by about 30mm

Final post for now... Fitted my BC racing coilovers that I got for an absolute steal!!!
After playing with the different heights I have settled with something like this
Fitted a PMS shifter at the same time as fitting the exhaust, again a lovely bit of kit although I still think the design of the shifter on this car is absolutely crap! I do need to get a new gear gaiter as I chucked the original one by mistake!
About a month ago I had a lovely big box turn up from PMS after being mugged off by Ktec for 5 months waiting for their exhaust!!
Absolutely lovely bit of kit and wish I had just ordered it in the first place rather than trying to save £200! Also fitted the cage which you can spot in the...
In the middle of winter I bought a set of Speedline wheels from a local clio enthusiast. Which initially were stored in the rear of the car but as of yesterday are now nicely up on the wall.
I had a bloody good battle with getting the stock steering wheel off. I simply couldn't get the airbag off so ended up taking my multitool to it. Yes I was careful and stood in a position of safety incase it went off!
Rear seat delete, still need to purchase the full length carpet to cover the metal work
I have since removed all the belts etc before fitting the half cage
Fitted bucket seats
I bought this car back in October 2024 with the intention of turning it into a weekend toy / road legal track car... It was in a pretty sorry state when I picked it up with a huge list of requirements but I have wanted an inferno orange 182 since I was about 15 years old so I made the purchase...
Last weekend I fitted at PMS exhaust, BC racing coilovers and a stud/nut conversion kit. New exhaust is infinitely better than the abomination that was on it. Previous exhaust was a right mish mash with multiple leaks from unnecessary joints!
Not today as such but found a little bit of loose change (and a key) a couple of months back when stripping out the interior and fitting the PMS shifter and bucket seats...
Yeah? As I cant imagine a clio being even half as reliable as my focus but then again. My focus is now 12 years old and if I was to get a 05 clio im sure it would have to be more reliable??? And a lot quicker ;)
Ah nope im not really into doing big cruises as the mrs will get peed off! Am i doing something wrong as im looking in the cars for sale section on here but cant view the pictures of the cars nor can i comment?????
