Nemesis FF 182

  182 Inferno Orange
I bought this car back in October 2024 with the intention of turning it into a weekend toy / road legal track car... It was in a pretty sorry state when I picked it up with a huge list of requirements but I have wanted an inferno orange 182 since I was about 15 years old so I made the purchase. It is fairly low mileage with 84k on the clock.

Here is the day I bought it and got it back home and in the garage where it has remained since apart from getting it out for fixes / modifications.

I had a bloody good battle with getting the stock steering wheel off. I simply couldn't get the airbag off so ended up taking my multitool to it. Yes I was careful and stood in a position of safety incase it went off!

About a month ago I had a lovely big box turn up from PMS after being mugged off by Ktec for 5 months waiting for their exhaust!!

Absolutely lovely bit of kit and wish I had just ordered it in the first place rather than trying to save £200! Also fitted the cage which you can spot in the last photo.

Fitted a PMS shifter at the same time as fitting the exhaust, again a lovely bit of kit although I still think the design of the shifter on this car is absolutely crap! I do need to get a new gear gaiter as I chucked the original one by mistake!

Your coilovers look a bit too low. I’d raise them to let the dampers rebound properly and absorb bumps, so you’re not bouncing around the circuit. You can also cause uneven tyre wear as the car skips across the surface. It may not look as cool, but you’ll get better grip, handling, and avoid damaging the suspension or tyres.

Yeah I have just realised that photo is actually before I raised it up. This is a photo as of yesterday, raised the rears onto the highest spacer and the fronts were raised by about 30mm

Another small update and what should have been significant! The brake calipers arrived back yesterday afternoon from SSL. Cracked straight on and had them all fitted inside 2 hours.

However there was an issue when I went to attach my pressure pump to do a fluid flush/bleed. Yes the cap was/is melted on! Absolutely gutted. Now going to have to try and source a new cap and then somehow get the old one off. I tried all kinds of different grips/pliers with no luck so almost definitely going to need cutting off slowly and carefully.

Nice one Renault. s**t design and a even shitter place to have the brake fluid reservoir!

So things have taken a bit of turn with this beauty. It has been to Alex at AW Motorworks and had the full works and more done. But due to a change of heart etc I am likely to be putting it up for sale as it is. What do you guys think it is realistically worth? I have typed up the below ready for an advert but really aren't sure what price point is realistic

Up for sale I have my stunning inferno orange 82005 Clio 182 Full Fat with just 84k miles on the clock. MOT until June 2026 with no advisories

I have spent nothing short of a small fortune on it since buying it last year. I had the intention of making it into a track car but sadly I am simply not finding the time and I haven’t really bonded with the car to be honest. When you do your mot history check you will see I haven’t even covered 200 miles since buying it. None of which were actually on track.

The paintwork is in decent condition. There are scratch marks down both doors but that aside it is very clean. Crucially underneath is in very good condition with minimal rust. No rust in any of the usual spots on these.

The interior is clean and smoke free. It is largely stripped out but I have put a full size carpet in the rear to cover up the metal work and also give a bit of soundproofing. It also helps to prevent things sliding around. Half cage fitted to the rear. Cobra bucket seats with 6 point harnesses fitted. Racing suede steering wheel fitted a few months ago

The car has just had a fortune spent on it at Renaultsport specialist AW Motorworks. Cambelt, dephaser, waterpump and auxiliary belt service along with some other bits were all done last month.

It has just had brand new brakes all round. Including the calipers being completely rebuilt and painted. It has Godspeed C hook discs on all 4 corners with Brembo pads on the rear and Carbon Lorraine pads on the fronts.

Brand new BC coilovers fitted two months ago. AW Motorworks have set the car up perfectly for track/fast road use.

Engine pulls really well and it really comes to life after 5.5k. Pretty much anything serviceable has been done. All filters, spark plugs, gearbox oil and engine oil. Brand new PMS exhaust including decat. Along with new o2 sensors and mounts.

Steering rack has had new bushes and all new inner and outer track rods.

It will be a shame to see the car go having never used it for the purpose of the build! It is ready to go straight to the track but just requires someone to do it.
