Yeh mate mine were green so wire wool did the trick... Still in limp mode thou!! Can I drive in limp mode coz it happened to me before and just decided to work again whilst driving... I'm thinking all the turning of the key and engine turning over may have flooded it or is bringing up the fault...
Right today I have given the wiring etc a overhaul, cleaned up all relays took every electrical plug out cleaned as best I could, changed battery in key fob, put in a fully charged battery bought a fault code reader from Halford for 50 but before I plugged it in I give the key a turn and hey...

Well I spoke to a few mechanics today and not one could get to mine until next week, but they have got me thinking would the battery in the key have enough power to open car but not enough to send signal to ecu as when I press the unlock button the red light on the key only lights up slightly...
Yeh as said just unplug each one individually don't take them out totally just unplug the electrical socket attached to each one so u know which one has gone. It will idle the same if u take out the one which is broke and probably cut out if u unplug one which is working
Really easy to change aswell 4 nuts, pull out fuel rail fit new injectors and pop the 4 nuts back attach fuel line done take you about 15minuyes to change all 4
I'd suggest pulling out the electrical plugs individually. Listen for idle change etc and you could narrow it down hut for the price you could afford to get 2 I did mine and when I took out the fuel rail you could see which one was knackered as the other 3 were nice and shiny and the knackered...
Yeh and mine I've checked all fuses and they are fine just the crackling from the relay need to get it to an auto electric really but no money till Friday aaaahhhh
Yeh it sounds like it's coming from one of them, may be a visit to the scrappy again not paying 15 each like.. Would this be the cause of my immobiliser light staying on???
Welcome to the group, I'm not sure if mine is uch related now or whether it's bloody loose wiring... In a way I'm hoping it's the uch as if it's a wire it could be anyone of them
Not what I wanted to hear as diagnostics won't pick it up I'll have to inspect them properly could it be th uch playing up as when I changed a few relays around my passenger window went down when I turned the ignition to on

Honestly that's what he said and that was someone selling a UCH ecu etc...... Wants me to ring him in the morning said he's worked owned on alot of clios and This was his issue on a few occasions if it works I'll eat my own foot but he's adament hahaha

Bloody hell the number of uch playing up this month is ridiculous. So the ecu shield is it a nightmare to get off?? I'm just gonna replace the whole lot I'm thinking, still waiting on the diagnostics can't get my car to the garage yet aarrggghhh
