that quote i got for £85 the other day is starting to look quite good. I went to one place today and they quoted £150! (thats with me providing the springs) and another place wouldnt touch the car as they said its too old (its only just 6 years old and its done 60,000) surely theyre tryin it on.

yeah, there were three multiplugs in my old dash (130mph speedo and fuel gauge) I took them out and just matched them up, the temp gauge plug was hidden away in the loom. My baby is a 97 p reg rl with the 1149 diet engine, dunno why it worked, I just thought id give it a go and i was lucky i guess
