That's true, but still very frustrating when it happens, I'll try that changing the host trick and see if I have any luck tonight.

TRAX 2015 - Sunday July 19, Silverstone Circuit

8:30am early pffft! I'd rather be early as possible and parked up; sipping a hot cup of caffeine, than sat in the usual 2 mile queue just to get onto the slip road entrance once the public turn up, get there early and avoid it IMO.

Sad times. I tried Crota on hard again last night as it's been quite a while, on the off chance of actually beating the raid to add to my 10 Triumps, however, as usual Crota glitched every time and everyone bailed. They say it's patched and shouldn't happen but it damn well does :(, doesn't make...

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC, XBOX ONE, PS4)

Completed this the other day, I had full mastercrafted Feline gear and level towards the last 1/4 of the story finished at level 34 so it was a pretty easy run. I have to agree with Gray, it's probably one of the best games I've played for quite some time! I'd even put it right up there with The...

    Mods for a Clio GT?

Proper tyres > Lowering springs - That's my advise. A decent performance set of tyres will make a much bigger impact on the driving experience than throwing lowering springs on what are effectively comfort spec shocks!!

    Lamborghini Huracan Crash

This! As safe as the Autobahns seem, even what might seem like a slight ripple at cruising speed, can turn into quite a shockwave at the top end and unsettle the car. I feel this guy got unlucky and caught a bump on the tarmac in a bad way. Hopefully the passenger is able to walk after...

    Clio 182 steering movement

I'd put my money on track rod ends, the cars are getting on now so it's something to expect if they haven't been done. However bump steer on the cups is more common as it's less forgiving, explains the Sachs dampers for the Trophy I would guess.

    Clio 182 Mapping where?

Andy at Engine Dynamics would be your best bet. Had my dephaser and belts done there just before christmas, great service, honest and they can do you a custom map too. They actually had a couple of race cars in for custom mapping whilst I was there, and engines being built so I can vouch you'll...

ABS Wiring fault - how to fix?

I had the slight judder when setting off although, I found I wasn't using enough revs, used slightly more revs and it's been fine. As for the 2nd gear rolling on a light throttle, every flyby wire car I've had, has done this to some extent the Clio is no exception. The only times I've not had...

    BMW F21 125d M Sport

Lovely car, they seem to take well to remapping; when that time comes of course. http://www.evolveautomotive.com/125d_1218/engine-ecu_1229/

Why oh why do people love Trendlines?

I have them in mine, although they were the rare factory Cup ticked option from new. Personally, there are far more supportive/comfortable seats out there for the money, IMO the bolsters are too shallow and unless you sit bolt upright with a CG lock you move about a bit too much in the corners...

    Hmmm.. Help?

At first glance that looks like noise destroying the finer details of the shot to me.Have you tried a long exposure with as lower ISO as possible to see if it's still occurring? If so, it's very likely it could be a sensor issue as others have said or fingers crossed just dirt on the sensor.

The Fatty's KTEC alternative induction setup that works just as well!

Thought I'd share an update. I replaced the IK with the standard version over Christmas, and run it for a few days to see if it was just a placebo effect upon my intial findings, and as I was going to be travelling hundreds of miles, it has more than enough time to readjust. I found as well as...

    1.2 tce modifications

Ideally, the steps to take with modern turbo engines would be; FMIC, exhaust, intake then remap to take advantage of them all at once, which saves you remapping after you add another part down the line. Not sure how much power you'll make with that lot but I'd imagine it free's up a lot of...

Clio 4 RS VS Fiesta ST EcoBoost

^^ I could change gear myself quicker/as quick as that!! :hushed: Surely it should be near instant feeling? I could understand if that was for a more "relaxed" driving mode, but that just seems like there's a fault. I'm not personally sold on the new Clio as to me, it's just a base to grow...

    Clio 182 issues

Unfortunate luck with the gearbox, you don't know how it's been treated in the past, same goes for the clutch. Given the age of the cars now, an 02 sensor isn't too much of a surprise, although the alternator is a bit odd but certainly not uncommon. Probably ebay would be a good start or the...

    wheel spin

If your clutch was slipping in 2nd gear you would definitely notice in anything higher up as it will have certainly had it. There is quite a big 'tell tale' difference between wheel spinning and a clutch slipping!! As for tyres, there really isn't any excuse for not having a good set in my...

Do you ever get comments on your car?

Starting to become a frequent thing for me since owning mine, usually "It looks really nice!" or "I really love the colour and look of it" even bumped into the very original owner of the and even he was quite taken back by it :)

The Fatty's KTEC alternative induction setup that works just as well!

Fitted this last night, this replaced the standard airbox, few points I noticed since fitting: - Throttle response noticeably quicker, a lot more get up and go in all gears - Slightly more grunt low down, - After 5k kick it feels like it has a nice bit of extra power and so much more urgent -...

What tyres do you run on track?

For the money Nankang NS2Rs are brilliant, about 80-90% outright grip of something like the ad08r. More of an entry level track day tire but for the money bargain plus they're decent on and off the track and better in most adverse weather conditions than something like the r888. Yokohama AD08r...

    300bhp N/A

I know 197 cams use a different profile, people use them as a mild upgrade for the 1*2's. I'm sure others will chime in, but it's not many as they're almost the same. Edit - Quite a bit of useful info in this thread - http://www.cliosport.net/threads/engine-differences-172-182-197-200.673220/

    300bhp N/A

Cost/Power/Reliability - You may pick only two. Seems quite fitting for this thread. :) Amazing bit of kit though, I'd imagine they're very fun on track probably not so much off of it. Although for OP, take your budget and double/triple to do it right.

    Audi A1 Quattro (1 of 19)

Not massively keen but I can see it being something collectors might be interested in down the line. Although at nearly £40k there is a big range of better cars to choose from on the market over this, especially when you're effectively talking about a Nissan GTR with a bit of spare change versus...

Remote Start And Turbo Timer (N/A Car)

Take it easy for the last 5 mins of your journey and it will be fine to switch off once you've arrived. As for warming up, getting in and driving the thing straight away will be far more beneficial for the engine rather than sitting there waiting for the oil to circulate and take a hell of a lot...
