I've just bought a willy 3 this weekend just gone. Its in very good condition, it has a tiny bit of rust on the drivers door / sill and not really much else. 96k £1700. Everything is original. At the end of the day these are 12 - 15 yr old cars, so its not going to be easy to get what your...

Does it matter if the rubber cover has split?
Guy said - when its compressed it makes no difference as it covers the inner shock back up.
Help! Should i bother buying these?
I see, so will get a genuine one on when I change the clutch.
Just another quick one - how much is a genuine cable?
And would buying a fairly cheapo clutch - think make is 'National' be okay at around £50?
Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me where to buy a cheap but reasonable quality clutch?
How much should I expect to pay for one - is £50 cheap?
And if I have had a clutch cable fitted 6 months ago, is it also worth changing this aswell (heard somewhere to change them both together)?
Thanx...
I too found the insurance to be the main decider between buying a willy or a valver, and together with the additional cost of purchasing a willy, it was valver or nothing!
Most of my friends whove had a drive of my valver (and have never been in one/driven one before) said they thought it held...
Have you seen one to actually buy? Just that a friend of mine went looking for one with a reasonable amount of £ and found it quite difficult to get a gud one.
Maybe the 172 could be the easier option as newer, more around so more choice?
In terms of comfort of drive, the vr6 is very very...
kitty - has nothing to do with the speed of typing, or the letters being there or not, its the fact that you called the Cup TURQUOISE!!! :o however it is spelt!!!!
But thats wat is is, init? ;)
Turqouise, turqouise, turqouise??????? :o:sick:
ok, so I type too fast! :o ...least all the letters were there! ;)
And anyway whats the big deal Slugger?
valver for sure.
Im thinkin of sellin mine aswell, but everytime I weigh up the pros an cons the valver comes out top. Wait and get some more money, insurance will certainly be a lot higher on an rst anyway??
And dont go for an older car either. Update instead if u really must change.
Sometimes alloy companies advise a ET 40 so why dont u ing the makers up and ask what they recommend to be on the safe side?
I think u mite also have to consider the size of the bore (which I think on a clio is 60).
Highway arent that gud!!!!!!!
Im with them and TBH I wish id never bothered. On telephone I asked (through the brokers) about the cost of all excesses (voluntary and involuntary) and the quote and policy they gave me turned out to have more than what they said; when it finally comes through in...
Unfortunately they wont as the PCD distance between the studs is completely different (about 108, instead of the 100 a clio needs). Therefore if u were to try and put them on your car, ud find that they would not fit on properly.
Hope this helps a bit! Unfornately I made a similar mistake...
Depends on which 328 u r talking about - if its the newest (0 - 60 in 6.5) wit 193 bhp, then no valver will beat it on either accelleration or mid range. I chose and test drove me mums coz it was faster than mine, jus b4 the 330 came out!
