Hi guys, this one was parked about as far from Homebase as you can get in the car park (the roundabout end), and yes I have a silver 182 (CS sticker in the rear window) :).

Small world mate :). I see the boxing club has just moved to the community centre which is just over the road from me. If I have any problems with the neighbours then I know who to call ;)
Cheers mate and my first spotted! I was heading over to Sainsbury's to get some shopping for the wife, which was basically an excuse to get out and go for a drive :). I noticed a black C2 as I was coming off at junction 5, and I expect sh*tty old astra = sh*tty driver :D.
Cheers again mate...
I have just dropped the car off at Alterimage Caochworks in Kent to have the wings sprayed. The wings need corrective work after a rubbish job was done elsewhere  (a very sorry experience which I chalked up to experience).
Anyway I will post up the results just in case anyone is...
My parents had this fitted to their camper van and it is pretty much invisible. The stuff they has fitted is apparently "self-healing" and you really have to look hard to even see the edges.
I have applied to small areas of the car, but I found it quite tricky, so I wouldn't personally...
Very nice 182 spotted near B&Q on the A20. I saw you twice and you were behind me turning into Gighill Road (I was in a XC90 rather than the Clio).

Very smart "05" RB 182 parked near Monks Head Pub...looked in immaculate condition :). Also had a great exhaust which seemed to fill the cut out really well.

I think it will be quite difficult. I have used it and it moulds quite well along a single fold line, but I am not sure that it will work that well around more complex shapes. If you are just covering the existing parts then the Di-Noc Carbon fibre "look" vinyl might be better imo. :) Keith
All,
Could someone with a tape measure just give me width and length of a clio Mk2 bonnet? I will be picking the car up next week (it's having a carbon bonnet fitted) and I want 2 see if the old one will fit in a Volvo XC90. As mentioned in my haste I forgot to do this myself before dropping...
The car is having a new bonnet fitted, and I forgot to measure the bonnet prior to dropping the car off :banghead:.
Could someone kindly give me the overall width and length of the clio bonnet as I need to know whether it will fit in my other vehicle.
Cheers, Keith
I'm 42 and I've had the 182 FF for 2 months and I love it :D. I had to sell my Westfield 2000 Sport as I needed a car with a roof and more seats. The wife even drives this one :) and the kids love it too.

I've been lucky enough to own several Westfields and a Caterham and to honest most of the owners are older (I felt young at 40ish :)). I think it's great that car enthusiasts come in all different shapes, sizes, colours and age, which imo everyone is better for :D. Variety is the spice of life...
Silver Clio in snodland, I was in the car that let you through :).
And a very nice silver 182 at coldharbour roundabout going towards the M20. I was about 5 cars back in my silver 182 :D.
Keith
My 182 was also checked and replaced for free 2 weeks ago. I phoned the nearest dealer and asked if it had been done and they were able to check there and then :).

Hi all,
The Clio will be having a carbon bonnet fitted at the end of this month but it will also be sprayed to match the car (the current one has a dent and numerous chips) and therefore only visible from the underside ;).
I intend to get the wife to inform the insurance company of the...
