Pic request: Phase 1 interior, blue parts swapped for black parts

Thanks! Can't beat the phase 2 interior, but it's a hell of a lot better

Pic request: Phase 1 interior, blue parts swapped for black parts

But I suppose you don't have pictures of it? And @ clio_stu: yes it's very, very nice. :)

But then you'll be having grey door and a fully black dashboard. Better to have them too then... Though... I don't think the selling price will improve if you do a dash conversion..

    Nice rear end :)

Very, very nice. I think getting rid of the "renault sport" decals would even be more nice. But I can totally understand that you let them be :)

Pic request: Phase 1 interior, blue parts swapped for black parts

Hi guys, Does somebody have pictures of a phase 1 with no blue interior parts left exept for the carpet. The last would not be a requirement per se. Very anxious to see them and I haven't found some yet :clown: Storyline: As I stated before, I think the phase 1 interior is hidious. The blue...

    My Dutch 172 phase 1

Haha, I'd say the same to you, but I think I'm outnumbered here ;) Don't like the interieur though... The blue accents are horrible, would have preferred it black. But I'm not going to swap dashboards for a phase 2, since It would loose it's identity. Swapping some dashboard parts for black...

    My Dutch 172 phase 1

By the way, what wheel spacers are often used here? Subtle spacers..., not extreme ones.

    My Dutch 172 phase 1

The 3M headlight restoration set is already at home, so that'll be done soon :) And indeed, pretty expensive kat also if you have to replace it.

    My Dutch 172 phase 1

Mixed feelings about the rear lights, these ones look fresh and new. But I can understand your preference too :)

    My Dutch 172 phase 1

Since I mounted a K-tec or Powerflex dogbone today, I guessed it was a good time to shoot some photo's. It's almost an OEM RS, exept for the R-tuner mapping, the Powerflex dogbone and the Nardi steering wheel.

    Iceberg ph1 oem +

Very nice. Quickly order some white or black side repeaters! :) And what brand exhaust is it? I had a Ktec stealth fitted, but that one was still loud. I like the sound OEM, or just a very little bit more. Stealth is the best looking exhaust for a phase 1 172!

    RS tuner

Yesterday I gotten the unlock code and the mapping from Henk. It's fantastic! So much smoother en balanced. When you change gear the Rev-needle goes a bit slower to 1500 rpm, after that declines just a fast as the normal mapping. Sort of a BMW feeling, the result is that you change gears more...

You can also use them for home decoration in the studyroom :P

I'm now awaiting Henk's unlock code and the ron 98 map. Anxious! :race:

Very nice! Doesn't work for my phase 1 knob though ;)

No, they differ... I don't know what specifically differs, but if I remember correctly it's the backbox.

It's true. All spare wheels I've seen had the wheel weights outside. Horrible, but the standard in 2000 it seems. You can only hope they didn't damaged the rim paint.

    Recaro Seat info - updated

Is anyone familiar with the striped Recaro seats? According to http://www.cliotrophy.ch they were fitted into Clio Trophy's. But I cannot find any evidence, just two pictures of the seats only on ebay. I haven't found any other pictures, all Trophy's I found had the black alcantara/leather...

172 mk1 with Williams seats Photoshop ( also pic request )

True, had that thought as well. Don't think the rear couch will fit easily though, it might leave a gab. I'll will take a look soon. My friend sells the interior, so I can check everything before I buy :)

172 mk1 with Williams seats Photoshop ( also pic request )

Well, a friend of mine has a welding machine and he does a pretty good job with it. So that is not really a problem. Everything can fit :P Also, the Williams seats were very much lower than the 172 seats. Better driving position.
