gotta be an easier way to push an amp live wire through the bulk head than going through the bonnet release cable? i have proper thick wiring dont even think it would fit? pictures would be great
many thanks
thanks, i do like the look of them,
ive heard about the espace v6 filter gonna look into that, it is flat low down, but i dont mind as the exhaust growls nicely ha, cheers
sounds good to me pal, cheers for the advice you can never have to much advice, all i need now is the inlets then the remap, seen a few sites lookin at about 180 ish for the inlet so thats the next job to get on with,
really? so what i need? got 40bhp out of the dc5 with a exhaust filter inlet manifold and kpro remap? take it these little things arent gonna be as easy so cams exhaust filter machted inlets and a remao wont increase the bhp by 30! jesus sounds like its not worth it?
ive done some research into it, and i find it hard to believe but he seamed pretty confident i know these engines are pretty well tuned, ill wait and see, i would like 200 bhp out of it eventually, filter exhaust already on, get the matched inlets, maybe some cams too all depends on price
new wheels on it, feels better all ready
really happy with the way it looks now and sits, nexted is matched inlets and a remap gonna aim for about 200 bhp my remapper says he got one to 197 with out the matched inlets so should be interesting what power its gonna be puttin out?
No its got am amp one or something, a cone filter thing, it was stuck in the front of it under the slam panel stoppin all air gettin in jesus know's how it passed the mot
Must have been runnin proper rich?
the filter comes with a cold air feed but there isnt any room to install it?? so which ever muppet installed it put that on and crushed the hell out of it, stopping all air, been driving it now for about 2 hours since fixing it, it makes a great noise now, gotta say :hail:
cant believe though no...
put up a few posts about my car lackin in power, engine management light on, slow 0-60 02 senser readings, ive found the problem
this was at the end of the filter, there was no air gettin into the car, took of the filter and gave it a run BLIMEY OH RILEY! it flew! so back on went the air...
ive just ordered the 02 senser, and i keep saying about the cam timing to my mechanic but he says no, why cant they just check the dam thing is it a mission??? coolent senser doesnt seam right as once the car had warmed up and revved to 72 its still sluggish on the vid it goes to 7200, gettin...
there is no flashing of lights in high revs actually got it to get 7200 tonight, had to let it warm up for ever, whats bmc cda? and whats caf? ive done a diagnostic check and its coming bak with the 02 sensor to which renault blamed the powerflow exhaust, ive done some timed runs tonight 0-60...
still suffering,
been into renault and had it plugged in, the management light keep comin on, they blamed the after market exhaust
on the car is a powerflow exhaust from the cat back, and a 3 letter named airfilter that cost about 250 quid, so this car should be about 175 brake,
would an o2...
renault have fixed the issue with the management light, but i still think its slow, see what its like when the new wheels go on, but it has made no difference at all, it struggles to get about 80 mph!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280649147217&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_2794wt_1059 just got these babies!!!! just had too, hope you all like lol
prob still occuring, going into renault on monday, the o2 senser is showing fault, and they also think egr valve or something might be blocked or restrictive? hopefully it should be covered under warrenty dont fancy paying dealer prices ha, oh and defo gettin shut of the wheels as there 17"...
for the mileage i do around 8000 a year all the cars are reliable as they only do around 2-3000 each i now have a big fat wedge in the bank when before didnt, jobs are being axed the future isnt lookin any better, petrol aint gettin any cheaper, and the temptation to mod the dc5 more was...
yes i know the wheels are sh!te will every one stop tellin me they look sh!te! need some advice here lol, and pics only posted 2 topics and had pure abuse about the wheels and spoiler! I KNOW THERE SH1tE! FFS :)

the wheels will be gettin sorted when i get this prob fixed, its already got a filter and an exhaust where is the cat? is it on the downpipes? not been underneath it, gonna do that next week when we check the lamba and o2 sensors what down pipes are recomended? the dc5 ones had dc sports, they...
cheers all, it still revs high, just seams to have no balls, you cant light the wheels up in second going round a corner, it feels really flat just doesnt pick its feet up like it should, theres no oomph, had a pal plug it into a modis and it came back with no faults, but he did say the lamba...
the price of modding them is a joke i spent about 4000 just to get 33bhp and have it put on spoon progressive springs, and a v.good 2001 plate will cost you 9-10k if you get cheap on theres a reason why its cheap, and running costs the later ones are the dear tax bracket, but besides that i...
dc5 had kpro, as thats the only was to map em, a dc sports manifold, hks decat, rbc manifold, torque damper, earthing stablizing kit, and uprated engine mounts and that to a lightened balanced flywheel and lsd it flew, the clio is lovely just need to get this issue sorted out, it has this forum...
i dont get the wheels, but like i said they'll do for the time being, the dc5 just cost to much, put a 10er in it, and it did 37.2 miles and that was with out v-tec and petol is never gonna get cheaper, its only gonna go up add that to the rising cost of gas electric food etc its became silly...
i never got board of the honda it was amazing, sounded and looked the part too, the wheels are abit naff but they'll do for the time being, more concerned with the issue with acceleration it has at the mo, need to sort that out then look at the other things
rising cost of everything forced me after a 6yr happy marriage to sell me loved integra dc5 a 250bhp monster, still wanted something nippy but reliable and saw this little ph1 172 and like the look of it.... i think its been lowered not sure whats on it, its got some sort of exhaust on it...
