you can buy crap cheap filter from motor accessory store from as little as £20, that are universal, but i beleive that comes down to you get what you pay for, you can buy good filter IE K&N, powertec that have different diameters so its just a case of finding the right diameter to fit your car...

i dont think have a coating of oil under the cover of any car is a good sign, i mean yea it will be abit mucky, but coated in oil, doesnt sound good, almost as thought the oil pressure is high and its trying to escape somewhere? check oil level maybe?

i seem to have a rather lumpy idle and a bit of a rattle, that i would describe as vvt rattle, it seems to be worst at idle, then as its revved the rattle is pretty much gone, ill try and post a vid tomorrow so you can hear the noise for your self, but what you reckon?

will it try to fire up? or will it not do anything? if nothing, could be the starter motor, if cold, maybe the crank sensor has gone, although they usually start up after a bit, but probably needs a good service

oh dear, i had this the day after i bought mine, is it knocking? mine was knocking awfully, and cutting out when ever it came to idle, and it ended being a big end failure, but if its not knocking, may just be a misfire, a plug lead may be arking out, or failed lead, spark plugs? i dont know...

please remove the neon tubes, and the nos (esp considering it doesn have nos), deffinately get it lowered, what about an air ride? then at shows you can drop it to the floor in seconds
