Ive had a clio project on the go for the past 2 months now, its pretty much done. how ever.... ill go out to it after its been stood for a day/few days and itll fire up fine, but knock it off and try again it refuses to start. you can only crank the engine for about 5 seconds and it cuts out...

would any one as to be so kind as to take a picture of there adjuster in place, got mine out and cant seem to get the fricker back in! or if theres a how to id be glad to be pointed to it, mines a 54plate dci clutch is cable driven thanks!

got my codes: p0685 - ecm/pcm power relay open circuit p0089 - fuel pressure regualtor performance problem p0487 - egr throttle position control circuit any common faults i can go off? cheers

unfortunetly shes no better... eml light still on, diagnostics time! just need to get hold of a snap on or such like code reader

yeah ford injectors are just the same, very delicate, i always cap them soon as there out. awesome well thats good to know...thats a job for tommorow. yeah i borrowed the correct locking pins from renault to time her up so i know its 100% timed up right :) did it while it was on the bench.

thats good to know... the injectors that are in the engine now are from the "new" engine not the original, so the ecu hasnt learned these injectors. how ever it should have the old injectors stored. ill give putting the old injectors back in a go would this cause a non start? yeah theres...

Hey all, My names Greg new here...joined up as i have a 54plate clio dci project on the go, bought with a "cream crackered" engine. nearly finished now, just joined up for a bit of banter and the odd bit of technical knowledge for the renault boffins! cheers! :rasp:
