I used a place on St Mary's street in Worcester - they did a great job and understood my sport. I believe I paid £900 for the dephaser, belts, coolant an oil change.
I have a 197 with a KTR Cat back system installed. Debating if to Decat it, however, I'm keen to hear from anyone who has one (or knows) if this set up would pass on a 102db drive by day?
Also, does it sound like a wet fart or does it sound half decent?
Thanks in advance.
About to change the rear discs on my 172
I have the 4 stud conversion and I'm wondering if these need to be removed before removing the rear discs or if they should just slide off and they can remain in place?
I'm also guessing they're going to be a bugger to get off so a hammer and some...
Have Gaz GHA coilovers with 400/350lbs spring rates.
It was originally set up for track but now it needs to be changed for fast road. It currently rides really well but suffers far too much bump steer. Can anybody suggest some good settings to improve this? It will be set up professionally...
Exactly my thoughts. It's driving me insane and they're always going to do it when cold. Given I use it for 'popping to the shops' sometimes, they just don't get enough heat in them. When I do press on it has to be said that they really are superb.
Currently have some Carbone Lorraine RC6 pads but after 210 miles with them on, the squeak is driving me insane. What's the next best alternatives which don't squeak or squeak very little? The car will be mainly used for fast road with the odd track day here and there.
Thanks in advance
Andy
I had a blue 182? Stick to us for a bit (Alexr19 - did you get a photo?)
looked smart and went well! I can't remember what road we were on but orange Aventador will be the give away!
Late reply to this chaps - works busy.
Cheers rich - any other days planned? I annoyed a scoob as he couldn't get past hehe
some of my laps are on YouTube. I need to book some more trackdays :-) Clio looked smart - anything booked in the coming weeks?
reed - as rich said, get some trackdays...
I'd like my 172 to pop and bang like it does from cold but there's a reason why it doesn't when warm. I'm not going to have my Clio over fuel and potentially have low back pressure just for a few more pops and bangs. Save your money is the best advice I think anyone can offer with regards to...
It was me you came out with :-) hope you had a good day! Our stand became a bit thin with 2 lambos needing a rest and 1 TVR up in smoke! :)
Ive be stuck the video on YouTube but unfortunately it appears the go pros battery died just before you jumped in!
That's a given, just seems daft that they don't even check a cars exhaust if they are doing a stop which they have gone out of their way to do! Especially if it's louder!
As for tyres etc... nothing would surprise me :)
You should be fine if you are sensible. I've never had any issues :)
What were they checking?! Hard to see the point of checking anyone if they don't look at one of the easiest things to pull someone up on!
Troll me all you wish. Car is for sale and I've had 2 offers so far and I only advertised it yesterday
The invoice weasn't just for the cams, belts and pulleys it had additional things done as well.
Don't feel I need to justify this on a public forum as anybody who is seriously interested is...
Interesting, I have hankook V2 evos on mine and think they are rubbish. Didn't rate them in my 205 and they are just as bad on the Clio especially when damp. Just my view!
Good to hear you are both okay, I have had a knock in the past which wasn't too different in terms of impact... if you have any questions about stuff that I may be able to help with (Mine was 14 months ago) then I'm happy to do my best in order to try and help. Claims process is tedious and you...
