My next problem on my 172 is the outer petrol cap the one the same colour as the car has broken, the plastic part that goes in and out as you open and close the cap. Can these be bought or has anyone got any advice on how it could be fixed i cant glue it or any bonding as such as its broken...

Hi folks, I have a 53 plate 172 and i have just bought it for the wife, only thing that is letting it down is the horendous 17 inch wolfrace alloys on the car, looking for a standard set of wheels tyres not so important, Anyone any idea how much i should expect to pay for a set? also any ideas...

Yeah mate i totally agree about the wheels they are horendous trying to find a set of standard wheels for just now, will run these until i find a good set. the wife likes kerbs so she can knock herself out until the standard ones go on, Bodywork needs a good bit of sorting there are a few dents...
