Little update on whats planned:
Cars booked into my mapper at end of month to get the lambda mapped out so the eml goes off lol also hes gonna give a few of the over run pops and bangs, i know some people dont like this, but i do :rasp:
Then 3 weeks after that its booked into AAS in Newcastle...
tbh mate the clio is all new to me so iv no idea, Going off a few mates who are into there sports i was told to get the pops and bangs map done, which is basically a slight upping on over run fuelling, my clios allready mapped with a raised limiter, its going in at end of month to get the lambda...

hmm think i may have to youtube these, arent they like normal airboxes then? where you would have to drill coldside to get any noise? i love the sound the k&n gives on open throttle...

Just a couple of questions, does anyone know the powertec induction kit will fit straight onto the end of the samco induction hose, iv read that the samco is a bigger bore pipe thats all and im ordering both at the end of the month, so dont wanna come unstuck with the wrong size filter...
Know what you mean fella, thats was my idea with my cupra but in the end got a good deal for it with my 172 which is exactly what i was after, so saved me the spanner work lol

an ex vagger then eh, iv just come from a leon cupra where again a map took me from 180 to 220 lol, once the exhaust and intake where fitted it was banging on the door of 230, so 50 bhp for what around £500 haha itb's dont even give you that and are 4 times more expensive...

May just concentrate on handling and stopping as the engine seems to be a lot of money for not a lot of gain
coming from forced induction where a map alone gives you 40bhp im a bit shell shocked lol
