G/fs 1.2 16V dynamique oil gauge seems to be a bit jumpy - anyone got any ideas why? brand new 04 reg, done nearly 1k, only noticed it today. wasnt ragging it. one minute oil was reading low/empty, next min it was 4 bars up. Then moved again I think. Checked oil in tank and it was ok.

Ok, im looking to replace the disks and pads on the front of my mk1 1.2 clio. Anything i shud be paying special attention to? Looking in the Hayes it shows theres only 2 bolts holding the disks on. Just a case of undoing them and putting the new ones on? Also i need some threa locking fluid...

My accelerator cables seems to be really sticky. I just had a bash at lubing it up, but its even worse now for some reason. Anyone know where to lube it? been using castrol grease and WD-40. cheers

So whats the penality on you if a copper checks under you car and sees no cat. As people have said its not illegal to not have a cat, aslong as it passes emissions test... So unless hes got a tester (probably unlikey to have one one him Id have thought) - whats he gonna do?

It is possible to remove car tyres your self at home. Ive got some at home i want rid of. They are worn so could just be cut off. Any tools that u cud recommend i.e. crowbar, long screwdriver etc. if it can be done? cheers

In order to try and get more mpg ive : had oil and filter change about 5k ago. cleaned K&N air filter new spark plugs 7k ago (if they make a difference?) hopefully get new fuel filter tomorrow all for a mk 1.2 anything else i can do on a DIY job? cheers for any help
